Civil servants to receive medical insurance

www.ntv.co.ke More than two hundred thousand civil servants will now have access to a comprehensive medical insurance scheme, following the signing of a contract between the Government and the National Hospital Insurance Fund. The scheme, which has been in the works for several years, is set to see workers from teachers, the armed forces, clerks, among others spend less on healthcare, starting this year. The cover will cater for five persons who include, the principal holder, spouse and three children.
